Yamaha has been ruling the Indian market since a lot of time and especially when bikes like FZ16 and R15 entered for the first time around 2008. 150cc segment bikes like these were a total hit and boosted the overall image of Yamaha and gave a tough competition to market rulers like Pulsar’s and Apache’s.This time company is playing big and news is out that Yamaha plans to launch the mighty MT-07 in India by the end of March this year.

This is just another news that proves that Indian biking industry is getting much needed attention now. 650cc bike segment in India is now a battle ground for a lot of cult bike manufactures like Kawasaki’s, Ducati’s, Benelli’s, and now if news are to be believed Yamaha too. This sure is great news for bike enthusiasts as Yamaha is finally back into what they do the best “setting standards for others to follow”.

MT-07 will be an addition to the previous bike line-up that includes R1 and v-max. MT-07 will go head to head against the Kawasaki Z800 and recently launched Benelli TNT 899.
