Yamaha Motors India registers a growth of 16.5% for the month of July 2015

Snapshot: An overall growth of 16.5% was recorded in terms of domestic sales and 6.6% in terms of units exported

According to the latest press release from Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd., the company has registered an overall 16.5% growth in terms of domestic sales for the month on July this year. Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd. sold a total of 56,591 units last month in comparison to 50,286 units that were sold last year in the same month. Apart from the domestic sales figures, Yamaha exported 16,689 units in July 2015 as compared to 15,654 units exported by Yamaha in the same month of 2014.

Companies export figures saw a growth of near 6.6%. Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd. came up with new and innovative products like ‘Fascino’ and 125cc commuter bike ‘Saluto’ which is playing a lead role in upping the market for Yamaha. Yamaha also expanded their dealership network across the country increasing their product reach to more corners than before. Apart from all this, Yamaha Motors India is also looking forward to launch their most awaited bike Yamaha ‘R3’ in India on 11th this month.

Commenting on the company’s gradual growth, Mr. Roy Kurian, Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd, said,” The incessant growth numbers are a sign of Yamaha’s robust business plan and strategic customer engagement programs. This month we witnessed brisk growth due to our exciting product line-up, new launches during the year and an enhanced dealer network. Our new stylish Scooter ‘Fascino’ and 125 cc bike Yamaha Saluto, have indeed been key in boosting our sales. We will continue to bring new excitement to our customers with new products and marketing initiatives which will help us post record numbers in the coming months as well.”
