Yamaha MT-03 to make its Indian Debut at the AutoExpo 2016

One more reason to rejoice. Yamaha has declared that the company is looking forward to launch the naked version of its famous YZF-R3 in India which will make its first official debut at the upcoming AutoExpo in Delhi. MT-03 is the naked-street version of its fully faired sibling sharing the same 321cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine, diamond frame and other body components. The engine delivers about 41.4bhp of maximum power and 10,750rpm and 29.6Nm of peak torque at 9,000rpm and is mated to a six-speed transmission.
We expect the bike to be priced around INR 2.9 Lakh and at this price it directly competes with Kawasaki’s Z250, Benelli TNT300, the upcoming TVS-BMW G310R and also the KTM 390 Duke (if engine capacity is taken into consideration). Like its faired sibling, it will also be brought in via a completely knocked down route. The bike sure looks promising and carries sharp and exotic looks. We are highly excited at this announcement and just can’t wait to see the bike in flesh. Share your views in the comment section below.
