Last year Yamaha surprised us with launch of its MT-09 street fighter as that time a new motorcycle was unexpected from the Yamaha's stable. later that year, a new Street Rally version of this middle weight motorcycle entered the international markets and now Yamaha has onslaught the third version "Street Tracker" of the MT-09. Basically, its a toned up version of the regular MT-09 with a few cosmetic and ergonomic changes as well. No alterations have been made to its powertrain or other mechanical components.
Outwardly, the MT-09 Street Tracker looks identical to the former version in shape but a few bits like short carbon front fender with aluminium stays, knee pads for extra grip on tank, flat two-tone black/brown seat and aluminium number plates giving it more of a Scrambler style. Then wide foot pegs and one piece handlebar are there to make the rider sit upright. Interestingly, the frame is painted in matte black finish while matt bronze alloy wheels adding a bit of hooligan styling to the MT-09 Street Tracker.
The MT-09 Street Tracker is powered with the Crossplane, 847cc, 3-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces might of 115bhp at 10000 RPM and 87.5 Nm of torque at 8500 RPM. A total of 45 accesories including the Akrapovic exhaust are also available for the Street Tracker. The bike has reached the Yamaha showrooms in Japan and other several markets with a price tag of €8,690.
