We are the Autoexpo 2016, and Yamaha has just unveiled its new male-centric scooter named as Cygnus Ray-ZR. The scooter looks muscular and classy. The price of the same will be announced somewhere in the month of April when the scooter hits the showrooms.
Like previous years, Yamaha has showcased its MotoGP machine beside the YZF-R15 version 2.0 at the Expo. The MotoGP machine looks incredible in flesh and as you can see it’s the one ridden by the none other than Valentino Rossi, #46.
The Cygnus Ray-ZR will be a male-centric scooter and will compete against the likes of Mahindra Gusto 125, TVS Jupiter and Honda Dio.
Yamaha R15 version 2.0 has not received at any of the updates and against our speculations Yamaha has not updated the bike with a version 3.0 model. But there is still a possibility that the Japanese motorcycle maker can unveil the same tomorrow as there is a bike unveil scheduled. The current version YZF-R15 propels a 150cc single cylinder engine that’s churns out a healthy 16.7bhp at 8,500rpm and 15Nm of peak torque at 7,500.
If Yamaha unveils the version 3.0 of the same then it is expected that the bike will receive a slightly more tuned engine that produces a larger amount of power in order to compete more fiercely in the market.
