Zero Motorcycles - the USA (California) based electric motorcycle manufacturing firm has revealed its naked streetfighter styled motorcycle called SR/F. The young motorcycling company had unveiled its 2018 line up back in 2017 and now launched their new ebike to rival the established brands trying to enter the electric motorcycles segment. Zero has equipped the motorcycle with a digital instrument cluster, cloud compatibility and an all-new motor.
Established brands like Harley Davidson has already started taking pre-bookings for their ebike called LiveWire and Kawasaki recently filed patent for a new electric motorcycle design. This shows that certainly, the 'Future is Electric'. Zero Motorcycles has used ZF14.4 lithium-ion battery to power their naked streetfighter and it claims a range of 198 Km, including city and highways. The all-new motor used in the ebike is called the ZF75-10 and it churns out 110bhp and 190Nm of torque. The SR/F will be offered in two variants called Standard (3kW charger) and Premium (6Kw charger). The brand will also offer a Rapid Charge Option and it claims that the SR/F Premium will get charged 95% of its total capacity in an hour.

The SR/F is equipped with Zero's new operating software - Cypher III. This operating software works in tandem with Bosh's MSC (Motorcycle Stability Control) and offers better feedback from the ABS, ebike's power delivery and Traction Control system. As mentioned above, the bike also comes with cloud compatibility that will assist the owner to receive future software updates. The ebike gets Showa USD forks in the front and monoshocks in the rear and runs on Pirelli Diablo Rosso III rubber. Zero will introduce the SR/F later this year in international markets and its India launch is not likely to happen anytime soon. SR/F has been priced at Rs. 13.50 lakh (Standard) and Rs. 14.92 lakh (Premium).
