Tata ACE Overview

Tata ACE falls under the category of ‘mini-trucks’. Popularly known as “Chhotahati”, it is one of the most popular products in its category. Powered by an extraordinary 798 cc 4 strokes direct injection common rail naturally aspirated diesel engine, the truck churns out a maximum power of 16 BHP at 3750 RPM and a peak torque of 94 Nm at 2000 to 2500 rpm. The power delivery to the engine is being handled by a five-speed manually transmitted gearbox. The single plate dry friction diaphragm clutch, on the other hand, ensures an effortless transmission which helps the truck to reach a top-speed of ninety kilometers per hour. The 30 liters fuel tank coupled with a mileage of 21.9kilometres per hour makes it the best choice in its segment. Offering a gradeability of thirty-percent, the truck is an ideal choice for small-scale businesses houses.
The Tata ACEstands out even in the comfort and safety department. Equipped with a mechanical and variable ratio power steering, the truck simply excels in handling. Fog lights, tubeless tyres, adjustable seats, informative instrument console, and seat belts are some of the other standard features. Some of the models even come loaded with an air-conditioned cabin. The braking department is handled by highly-improved disc brakes on the front wheel and drum brakes on the rear wheel which is coupled with a dual circuit hydraulic system. The suspension duty is being done by parabolic leaf spring with anti-roll bar on the front wheels and semi-elliptical leaf spring with anti-roll bar on the rear wheel. Available in many variants spanning from a wheelbase of 1,285 mm to 2,100 mm, the price starts from INR 2.6 lakh (Ex.-Showroom).
