2014 Auto Expo: Hero MotoCorp unveils Splendour Pro 'Classic'

At the 2014 Auto Expo, Hero Motocorp unveiled its Splendor Pro Classic, which is actually the retro styled Cafe racer version of the company's longtime best-seller Splendour. Powered by an air-cooled 4-stroke 98cc APDV engine, which outputs 7.7 bhp of max power and 8.04 Nm of peak torque and is coupled to a 4-speed manual gearbox.
The Classic version of the Splendour gets a new handlebar, classic round headlight and tail light, cafe racer cowl and additional chrome parts for the front and rear fenders, and chrome wrapped round rear view mirrors.
The bike weighs 109 kilograms, the Splendor Pro Classic has a ground clearance of 159 mm. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers at the front and a swingarm with a 5-step adjustable hydraulic shock absorber at the rear.
According to the company, the will launch three new scooter models by March 2016. While the first model is 110 cc DASH, which will be rolled out in the first half of the next fiscal year, the other is 125 cc DARE will hit the road in the second half of 2015.
