Bajaj Pulsar 150NS exports crosses 20,000 units

The Pune based motorcycle maker, Bajaj Auto, is yet to announce any news on the launch of the Pulsar 150 NS here in India. But the manufacturer is already shipping the motorcycle to the international markets and reports suggests that since its first appearance in Colombia, the total exports of the Pulsar 150NS has crossed over 20,000 units.  Bajaj Auto is one of the biggest two-wheeler brand of the country and with motorcycles like RS200, AS200 and Discover range, the brand enjoys a huge market presence in the world of two-wheelers.

The bike houses a newly built 149cc twin-spark engine that churns out a healthy 16.8bhp of maximum power and 13Nm of peak torque. It is based on its elder sibling the Pulsar 200NS and is built around a slimmer rear subframe, to suit the thinner tyre size of the 150NS. That aside, the subframe and a host of components have been carried on directly from the Pulsar 200NS. We hope the Pune based automaker will soon announce its plan to sell the same in the Indian motorcycle market. And when launched the bike will have to deal with a lot of competition like the Suzuki Gixxer, Yamaha FZ16, Honda CB Hornet 160R and Hero Xtreme Sports.
