CB Trigger officially discontinued by Honda in India

Two days ago Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) showcased five new motorcycles while launching the all new CBR 650F at the RevFest that took place across 8 cities simultaneously in India. A day after the launch event Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has officially discontinued the CB Trigger from its Indian product line-up. Few weeks back Honda introduced new player in the commuter segment, Livo 110 that was originally launched to replace the low selling CB Trigger from the line-up.
According the ET Auto report, Honda was able to sell just 8,000 units of CB Trigger in the domestic market for the April to June span. Till date Honda sold around 2.30 to 2.50 lakhs units of CB Trigger since the time it was launched in the Indian market. Apart from launching the CBR650F and showcasing the new models of CBR 250R and CBR 150R, Honda also revealed an all new motorcycle, CB Hornet 160R which was praised by critics all around the country for its impressive styling. CB Hornet 160R is assumed to be launched around the festive season in India. Though CB Trigger has been discontinued in India but it will continue to be exported outside.
