Ducati announces the latest Monster - 821

In 1994, when Ducati launched the first Monster ever, little did they know that it will end up becoming the best thing Ducati had ever done. Having sold 2,90,000 Monsters since its inception, it is essential for Ducati to make sure that anything that joins this reputed family has shoulders that can carry on the legacy it needs to carry to pass it on to the next generation.
The Monster 821 will take the charge from Monster 1200 that was launched in November 2013 and will sit comfortably in the mid-size segment. The new model will carry on the character the iconic 1200 had using the new chassis and muscular styling along with latest design and premium components. The perfect blend of style and the new age technology with the rawness and the naked look of the Monster will ensure that it fits the lifestyle of a hard-core biker and also an elite who wants something to match his impeccable sense of style.
The Monster 821 will be a true-blue Italian marvel with its high-spec brakes, excellent suspension and stylish components that have been married to ergonomics Ducati is known for making it the most attractive mid-range Monster ever. The adjustable seats make it highly comfortable. The model comes loaded with technologies like 8-level traction control, 3-level ABS and 3-level Ride-by-Wire that can be maneuvered at the press of a button.
The Monster 821 will be made available to its UK customers from July 2014 onwards. The Monster 821 will arrive in two kind of uniforms. The basic version will come either in Ducati Red with Red frame and Black wheels, or Star White Silk with Red frame and matte Red wheels, and will have a price tag of £ 8,995 (Rs 8,87,000). The Dark version will come in Dark Stealth shade with Black frame and Black wheels, and has been priced a little lesser at £ 8,795 (Rs 8,68,000).
