Hero Motocorp, the world's biggest motorcycle manufacturer has announced to add two more products in its line-up next month - the Dash Scooter and Xtreme Sports motorcycle. Hero first unveiled these right before the Indian Auto Expo '14, with a fleet of other products which probably also make their way to the Indian bike market in the upcoming months. Let's scan the profile of the products announced now.

Hero Dash Automatic Scooter

The first product that Hero has lined-up for launch next month is the Dash scooter. It'll be a 110cc scooter which aims to target the masculine mass and takes over the Maestro - the other scooter from Hero's scooter range. Dash borrows the same 111cc 4-stroke, forced air-cooled powertrain, which produces 8.44bhp or power at 7500rpm, whereas the torque stands at 9.4Nm at 5750rmp. That means the engine in the new scooter is going to see a slight improvement in the power output figures. To add, Dash Automatic scooter is going to feature telescopic front forks, with the front tyre measuring 90/90/12, and rear alloy wheel measuring 90/90/10. In the brakes department, the scooter uses Hero's Integrated braking System(IBS) on the rear tyre, whereas the front brakes use 130mm drum  brakes.

Hero Xtreme Sports

Another product that the company aims to bring is the Xtreme Sports 150cc bike. As the name reveals, this to be launched motorcycle is a sportier avatar of the existing Xtreme, and gets some exciting features as well as equipment to justify the new moniker. The upcoming Xtreme is to house a 150cc air-cooled, single cylinder, 4 stroke engine that produces 15.2bhp of power at 8500rpm, whereas the torque is 12.80 at 6500rpm. The bikes is to come paired with a 5 speed gearbox, and is going to use hydraulic telescopic front suspension, whereas a 5 step adjustable system at the rear.
