Hero Motorcorp is all set to launch its first indigenous developed motorcycle, iSmart in Indian two-wheeler market on 14th July in New Delhi. The bike was first showcased at the recently held Auto Expo 2016 and carries forward the i3s technology, which was also used in its younger cousin, 100cc iSmart.
The iSmart has air-cooled, single cylinder, 4-stroke, 110cc, engine that is capable of producing a maximum power output of 9 bhp at 7,500 rpm along with 9Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. Its engine is coupled with a four-speed gearbox and overall tuned to provide more comfort, acceleration and better fuel efficiency to the rider.
In terms of design it has received fresh looks, muscular fuel tank, and stylish headlamps assembly with the chiselled waistline. With improved fuel efficiency, better performance and fresh design, it looks like this motorcycle will help the company to increase its volume in terms of sales numbers. We expect the new Splendor iSmart to carry a price tag of around Rs 53,000 to Rs 57,000.
