Honda unfolds its plans for 2014-15 at its 13th annual business meet held at Tokyo, Japan

The HMSI business meet was held in Japan for the first time and included 900 business partners including dealers, distributors, transporters, stockiest and Honda associates from India.
In the previous year Honda grew by leaps and bounds and plans to 'raise the bar once again' in FY 2014-15. Honda also announced the launch of two new motorcycles in second quarter of FY 2014-15. The first one would be the latest addition in the Dream series as Honda's most affordable motorcycle in India, the second one will be a stylish yet sporty 160 cc which will be targeting the youngsters.
Mr. Y S Guleria, Vice President - Sales and Marketing, HMSI emphasised on having more touch points and increasing the network for a deeper penetration in the market.
“Reaching closer to customer is a priority. Moving full throttle with scorching pace, Honda will add 1000 new touch-points to its network. This translates to adding a phenomenal 3 outlets each day and is significant as with this expansion, Honda will double its network in just 2 years from 1950 outlets in FY’2012-13 to 3800 outlets by end of FY’2014-15,” he said.
Thanks to the business meet, the partners were able to come closer to Honda's racing genes through its motorsport activity at the Twin Motegi race circuit, and also witness the legacy Honda has been proudly flaunting for decades through its Honda Collection Hall which showcases 300 carefully restored display units.
