Snapshot: Special Edition 'x' Tiger showcased at IBW 2015...

At EICMA 2014 Triumph was one of the companies that did not exactly brought all new products for the 2015 model range, but they did upgraded their entire range of motorcycles and brought nee special edition 'x' moniker to the entire range. The 2015 Triumph Tiger 800 XCx is like the Tiger 800 XRx, with more features and refinements than the base Tiger 800 XC. The biggest additions are an adjustable traction control system, three riding modes, adjustable ABS, and cruise control, all as standard on the off-road slanting ADV bike.

The Triumph Tiger XRx also features twin power sockets. Apart from these differences, both the motorcycles feature the same tubular steel trellis frame and cast aluminium swingarm, and get four-way traction control system, cruise control and ABS as standard. The Triumph Tiger XCx and XRx employ a 3-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 800 cc engine that produces 94 PS power and 79 Nm torque, mated to a six-speed transmission. The machines feature adjustable 45 mm upside down forks at the front with 220 mm travel and a Showa monoshock at the rear with hydraulically adjustable preload, damping and rebound adjustment, with 215 mm travel. While Triumph did not officially announce prices of the XRx and XCx at India Bike Week 2015, both the motorcycles would be available at dealerships by the end of March 2015.
