MotoGP - 2015 Valentino Rossi Special Mugello Edition Helmet continues tradition!

Mugello has always been one of the most iconic motorsport venues of the motorsport world and it has been more than 30 years since the world premier motorcycle racing championship has been racing at the Ferrari owned track in the utter scenic region of Tuscany close to Florence, Italy. Motorcycling is a core part of Italy's tradition and Italian's love their racing heritage and their racers.
Speaking of racers, and then Italian ones, how can one forget the legendary 'Doctor', Valentino Rossi is not just a legend in Italy but he is treated like a God in his home country and why not? for he is one of the most famous sportsman that have ever lived and he still continues to prove why he is considered to be the G.O.A.T. (Greatest Of All Time) by many a fans and followers of the sport.
Mugello is Valentino Rossi's spiritual home and to celebrate racing heritage and his love for his country and this sport Valentino Rossi, as it has become a tradition now, unveils a Special Edition Mugello Helmet Design every year MotoGP arrives at Mugello. For this year's edition, Rossi, as discussed and as traditional, has unveiled a special helmet design on Saturday morning of his home Italian MotoGP at Mugello.
The 2015 Special Edition Helmet features a whole new paint scheme which has a 'Mirror Finish' effect on its top part which as he has said, it symbolically mirrors his fans and the crowded hills of the Mugello Circuit'. Going to the back of the helmet, the helmet adorns several energy levels, starting from bright red for free practice and moving up to the maximum level of yellow, Rossi's favourite colour, on the grid.
Hovering towards the right side of the helmet, it features the number 46, combined with the "recycling" icon and the "Renewable Energy" writing. While the left side reads "Yellow Energy" and the footprints of Valentino's cat Rossano and his dogs Cesare and Camilla are drawn. and completing the 2015 Special Edition Helmet design, at the chin guard, the helmet features blue solar panels to provide a further 'energy charge' to the seven time MotoGP champion.
However, Valentino Rossi was not the only Italian rider who unveiled a special Mugello helmet for 2015. Both Italian riders for the Factory Ducati team, Andrea Dovizioso and Andrea Iannone released their own Special Mugello helmets to honour the track, their fans, supporters, teams and loved ones.
