New Instrument Cluster on RE Himalayan Spied!
Snapshot: The instrument cluster stay true to adventure dreams of the RE Himalayan!
So you didn't endorse the styling of the previously spied photographs of the meter console on the Himalayan prototypes, you need not worry, as our friends at PowerDrift have shared pictures (spied) of the Himalayan's instrument cluster. The pictures are both clear and showcase a new production ready finish to the instrument panel.
In the shared picture, the cluster is made up of a collection of three enclosures surrounded by chrome linings, the three holding dials for speedometer, rev-counter, fuel gauge etc. The spied Himalayan test mule looks production ready and seems to be the enduro variant among the two rumoured variants of the Himalayan to launch, the other is a more road friendly variant.
The bike is expected to be launched on February 2nd, 2016 in Delhi when RE has scheduled a conference in Delhi. The spied pictures shows that the speedometer reads for both kmph and mph while getting a part digital meter to display odometer and a trip meter alongwith a gear indicator which is also expected to arrive in the Royal Enfield's adventure hungry offspring.
Previously, spyshots have also shown the Himalayan with pretty neat mountings for Panniers and the sleek installation of the jerry cans is worth appreciating too. Add to that an upswept, high ground clearance, long travel suspension, bigger front tyre and you have a motorcycle that should not be just good at some decent off road endeavours but also crave for them big time.
