Suzuki Launched its GSX-S1000 & GSX-S1000F Twins in India Starting at INR 12.25 Lakhs

The revitalised Suzuki Motorcycles India buoyed by the success of its 150cc segment Power commuter, Gixxer's success and following it by a widely appreciated and in demand Gixxer SF, has gifted the country with the launch two of its latest offering in the high capacity roadster and touring category, the GSX-S1000 and the GSX-S1000F at prices of INR 12.25 lakh and 12.70 lakh Ex-Showroom, New Delhi respectively.
Both bikes will be available in two colour shades to choose from - Candy Daring Red/Glass Sparkle Black and the Suzuki MotoGP racing effort colour, Metallic Triton Blue. Wearing in their hearts, the Engine from the iconic GSX-R1000, both bikes arrive with a liquid cooled 999 cc, 4-stroke unit with DOHC, capble enough to produce144bhp and 105Nm torque with its in-line four cylinder layout. Other important equipment features on the GSX-S1000 twins which consists of an advanced & lightweight chassis, switchable 3-mode traction control system, 43mm inverted KYB forks, radially mount monoblock Brembo brakes and the display is a sporty multi-information instrument cluster.
Mr. Atul Gupta, Executive Vice President, Suzuki Motorcycles India Private Ltd. spoke about the bikes in detail during the launch, he said “The GSX-S1000 is a naked roadster with an aggressive look, while the GSX-S1000F is its fully faired sibling. Their supersport genes deliver smooth, controlled handling and dynamic acceleration. We are launching these models globally and in India at the same time so that Indian motorcycle enthusiasts can lay their hands on the latest, top of the line Suzuki products. These motorcycles cater to the rider who wants a performance street motorcycle. These sport roadsters have expanded our already diverse big motorcycle lineup”.
The duo of these liter class beauties from Suzuki in their current avatar were globally showcased at EICMA 2014 and their arrival at rather lovely price point means that this segment gets another heavy weight alongwith the Kawasaki's hugely capable Ninja 1000 and Versys 1000.
