The Retro Beauty V7 II form Moto Guzzi is coming to India
Snapshot: It is high time Piaggio starts promoting its Italian Exotics from Moto Guzzi in India as the V7 11 is arriving soon.....
The Italian's know how to do it, they know it in a way that none other can do the things they do. Yes we mean the designs, the technology Italians are known to bring to the automobile world. That little Motor Valley in the little country of Italy is nothing short of a pilgrimage for the automobile enthusiasts around the world. The exotic Italian motorcycles command a space in the rider psyche like no other brand can achieve. One of these iconic exotic motorcycles from Italy is Moto Guzzi.
A part of the Piaggio Group, Moto Guzzi is an Italian company that makes one of the most iconic yet classic designs for the world. Now reports are suggesting that, Moto Guzzi is bringing in the V7II retro modern classic to India very soon. Although, the Piaggio group has been a bit slow on promoting its premium offerings in the country, however, looking at the changing dynamics of the market and the entry of a lot of competitors, Moto Guzzi has been indulging in promotional activities off late. The bikes have been showcased at various events across the country to gain potential customers eyeballs.
The Moto Guzzi V7 II when launched will be the most affordable offering from the Moto Guzzi stable in the country and is expected to arrive at approximately Rs. 9 lakhs. Although the V7 II is a rival for the Triumph's Modern Classic, the legendary Bonneville, but it will be priced on the higher side due to being a CBU. The Bonneville has been well accepted by the Indian market and has sold in decent numbers. The Italian brand is hoping to get a boost in sales volumes with the launch of the V7 II.
The V7 II is powered by a 744cc engine, producing 50 HP and 58 Nm, mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The bike comes with ABS and traction control as standard and is available in three editions abroad – Stone, Special and Racer, with each edition having particular distinct features in it. Coming through CBU, we reckon Moto Guzzi will indeed bring all three variants in the country. We reckon, a showroom and service back up expansion will give these stunning retro Italian designs by Moto Guzzi a good market share in the segment and the V7 II should sell well considering it looks good and has the hardware to compliment its visual appeal.
