Tork Motorcycles to launch its first electric bike soon

Future is near, Tork Motorcycles, the Pune based electric motorcycle maker is all set to launch its first electric bike in Indian motorcycle market. T6X, the first electric bike for mass market by Tork Motorcycles is all set to make its debut. Being an electric bike it will not have any direct competition as such but will be comparable to the 125cc segment motorcycles present in India today. The bike can cover up to 100kilometers once fully charged and can attain a maximum speed of 95km/hr which is commendable keeping in mind that it’s an electric vehicle. CEAT Tyres will be providing special set of tyres for the T6X and the bike has been well packed with features like cloud connectivity, on-board navigation system, fully digital display and much more.

The company has a very promising racing history as it participated in various electric bike category races around the globe and tasted huge success in most of them including the toughest race of all time, Isle of Man TTX-GP. The reports say, that the company has already received good amount of funds and is ready to commence its production process. Big investors such as Bhavish Agarwal and Ankit Bhati, the founders of Ola cabs are among the list of angel investors for Tork Motorcycles. Stay tuned for more updates.
