Triumph Motorcycles celebrates Independence Day by organizing ‘Ride for Freedom’

The iconic British motorcycle maker, Triumph Motorcycle celebrated India’s 70th Independence Day by organizing a ‘Ride for Freedom’. For the second consecutive time, the motorcycle manufacturer came together with Smile Foundation in order to support the noble cause of Girl Child Education. The ride was organized across various Indian cities where Triumph Motorcycles currently operate its dealerships. Hundreds of Triumph owners came together to support and contribute towards the cause of Girl Child Education. The ride flagged off from Triumph dealerships of the respective cities and after riding on the preset route, the ride concluded at the respective dealerships.
Smile Foundation has been doing an exemplary work by bringing change to lives of the ones in need. The foundation has been working towards children’s healthcare, education and livelihood that directly benefits over 400,000 children and their families every year.
On completion of the ride, Mr. Vimal Sumbly, Managing Director, Triumph Motorcycles India said, “It was great to see the Triumph Motorcycles coming together for a noble cause. While, we celebrate the 70th year of Independence, it is our responsibility to make our country a stronger Independent nation. This Triumph Motorcycles’ ‘Ride for Freedom’ is a pledge to empower our girl children by providing them proper education”.
