Jeep Compass Facelift Preview

Jeep Compass has been selling very well in the Indian market since its launch in 2017. Jeep may announce a facelift of the Compass soon. The facelift will bring new technological, comfort and mechanical changes to the SUV. Jeep Compass Facelift will also derive some of the features from the Compass Trailhawk. Jeep Compass Facelift exterior will come with a redesigned bumper with a skid plate and bonnet. There will also be LED headlamps with sleek Daytime-Running Lamps. The side profile will get new diamond-cut alloy wheels while the rear will also get a redesigned bumper with a skid plate. Jeep Compass Facelift interior will feature dual-zone climate control, body-coloured accents, leather upholstery and central console with storage. The dual-pane panoramic sunroof with huge glass area will open a sense of airiness within the cabin. The touchscreen infotainment system will come with Bluetooth, in-built Navigation and smartphone connectivity. Jeep will also offer Android Auto and Apple CarPlay for seamless integration of mobile phones. The driver gets a multi-function leather steering wheel with the adjustability, push-button start/stop, dedicated voice command button, cruise control for hassle-free highway driving and a multi-information display that shows various information to the driver in the instrument cluster. Jeep Compass Facelift will also get electronic Parking brake instead of the conventional lever-type handbrake. The 60/40 split-folding rear seats ensure that you can carry large items in your boot. Braking duties are handled by disc brakes in the front and disc brakes at the rear. Safety features include Anti-lock braking system with electronic brake distribution, traction control, airbags and stability control. Moreover, hill-start assist, hill hold assist, cornering foglamps and Electronic Roll Mitigation enhance the safety of the Compass. The parksense rear park assist system, rear parking camera and rear parking sensors help the driver to park the SUV easily.
Jeep Compass Facelift specs will offer a new 1.3-litre turbo-petrol known as FireFly, this engine will replace the old 1.4-litre MultiJet petrol. The new petrol engine may come in two states of tune. The max power output of the first tune will be 150bhp and a peak torque output of 250Nm while the more powerful tune will produce a max power of 180bhp and 270Nm of peak torque output. The lower tuned version will get a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission while the higher state of tune will get a nine-speed automatic from the Compass Trailhawk. The 2.0-litre diesel engine will produce a max power output of 173bhp and a peak torque of 350Nm. The engine can be mated to the nine-speed automatic transmission and will also come to the lower 4x2 diesel trims. All of the engines will be BS-6 compliant. Jeep Compass Facelift price will start from around Rs.22.0 Lakhs.
