The brand Hero will also be playing in the big bike market with new high capacity bikes, which will stand in a niche segment of Rs. 1.2 to Rs. 1.5 Lakh.

Expected Features

The two-wheeler manufacturing companies will be introducing features such as ABS and fuel injection technology in the upcoming bikes in the power commuter segment. These features will not just stay restricted to the higher segment bikes, and low and middle segment bikes will be seen with these features very soon.

Two-wheeler manufacturers like Hero and Bajaj are working towards electric two-wheelers and hence they will soon be launching new battery-powered vehicles that will stay independent of any kind of fuel need.

Expected Transmission and Mileage

All upcoming power commuters are expected to have 6-speed transmission, while everyday commuters will carry on with 4-speed and 5-speed transmission options. The mileage figures will range at 50-60 kmpl for everyday commuters, 30-35 kmpl for power commuters and around 20 kmpl for superbikes.
